CanadaPharmacy.com’s CanadaCare Plan Records Benchmark Year, Saves Customers Millions

VANCOUVER, BC (PRWEB) December 26, 2011

With rising healthcare costs affecting millions in the U.S. and around the world, many are looking for alternatives to cope with the inflated prices of lifesaving medications and prescriptions. And many are finding this relief with CanadaPharmacy.com?s CanadaCare Plan.

CanadaPharmacy.com has been offering top-shelf medications to customers around the globe at a fraction of the cost for many years. This success, says CanadaPharmacy.com Marketing Manager Steve Crawford, is what has fueled a record year for the company. ?As prescription costs continue to rise, many people are turning to our CanadaCare Plan due to its reputation as a more affordable alternative to Medicare,? says Crawford. In 2011, CanadaPharmacy.com saw an all-time high number of enrollments in their CanadaCare Plan ? a plan that, unlike other programs, has no restrictions on age, income, health or current prescription expenses.

The CanadaCare Plan works by offering customers a wide variety of discounts based on the type of plan in which they have enrolled. For example, once a customer has spent $ 400 on a Gold or Platinum Plan with CanadaPharmacy.com, they automatically begin to receive a 5% discount on all subsequent orders for the year. And as soon as the customer hits $ 1000, the discount jumps to 10%. ?By offering these deep discounts on high quality prescription medications,? Crawford adds, ?we have saved our customers millions of dollars that they normally would have had to pay.?

Currently, CanadaPharmacy.com is the only online pharmacy offering the CanadaCare plan to customers in the U.S, with the 2012 program beginning on January 1, 2012 and a sign-up deadline of January 31, 2012. This fact, added to the company?s renowned customer service, is what Crawford believes is the key to his company?s success. ?A lot of other online pharmacies and government programs treat customers like a number, where we are focused on the individual needs and health of each person who signs up with our services. This is the reason we are able to continuously grow even after being in the business for all of these years.?

Michelle Obama Encourages Brazilian Youth

Brasilia – Brazil (PRWEB) March 26, 2011

First lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia watched a traditional capoeira performance at a restaurant in Brasilia as part of a cultural exhibition with young Brazilians, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, who have participated in a range of U.S.-sponsored exchange and leadership development programs. ?The United States and Brazil are two of the largest economies and two of the largest democracies in the Western Hemisphere,? Obama said March 19. ?But we have always believed that the future of both our nations depends on more than just relationships between presidents and prime ministers.?

Many of the young Brazilians attending the cultural performance with the first lady and her daughters actively participate in U.S.-sponsored programs aimed at enhancing their educations and helping develop young leaders. In January 2010, the first lady met with more than 30 Brazilian young leaders who were participating in the U.S. State Department?s Youth Ambassadors Program. Many of the young people attending the performance have participated in a variety of exchange programs between the United States and Brazil, are studying English or have been recognized by the Brazilian government for outstanding achievement in math and science, the White House said.

Mrs. Obama said that if the nations of the world are to grow together, they have to communicate ? talk with one another and listen. ?And that?s why I?ve always believed that it?s important for young people everywhere to build those friendships around the world, to learn different languages,? she said. She encouraged the young Brazilians to pursuit their educations because that is the one thing that will lift them out of poverty. It was the lesson she learned growing up ? that ?the most important thing was an education,? she added. ?I knew I had to study and I had to stay focused, just like so many of you are, in order to reach my dreams,? Obama told the young people. ?We need energetic, smart, young people to fix the problems in the world. And that?s going to be all of you one day soon,? the first lady said.

Among those who participated in the event, the “Associa??o Raizes do Brasil” in conjuncture with Mestre Ralil Salom?o where chosen to illuminate Michelle Obama about what traditional capoeira is about. Their aim is to present and disseminate capoeira as a traditional sport in Brazil, using it as a rich tool for the improvement of social integration in the lives of children, and adolescents of disadvantaged communities. Mestre Ralil Solom?o founded the “Associa?ao Raizes do Brasil” in 1980 with their headquarters established in Brasilia. His students, always guided by the philosophy of his work, have multiplied and gained recognition in the city and surrounding areas. Mestre Ralil dedicated himself to the coordination and maintenance of the Association Raizes do Brasil, which currently has approximately 11,000 members in Brazil and around the world including countries such as the US, France, UK, Japan and South Africa- always with the objective of capoeira as a sport, an instrument of socialization, education and self-improvement. Several young people who began practicing capoeira with Mestre Ralil, today support their families, attend college, own some sort of transportation vehicle, live with dignity and are an example of the philosophy and principals the “Associa?ao Raizes do Brasil” aim to put forward.

(PRWEB) December 05, 2011

Beat100 wraps up another month of friendly rivalry among users all aiming for the top spot to grab some of that prize pool. November was perhaps the best month yet for Beat100 with more and more uploads entering the charts sparking more registrations from artists friends & families who have then been since glued to the site utilizing the social networking department. Beat100 has really started to take form as a platform that can launch undiscovered talent worldwide, the site has already unearthed a gem in Essex group ‘Us & Her’ who remain in the music chart for Decembers competition.

November’s Music Chart had an unexpected finish with a young woman named Kate Claussen jumping two spots to snatch first place after lying in third position for almost the entire month, this web-based behavior just shows the true power of social networking & that Beat100 has only just started to scratch the surface.

Kate Claussen (16) from Southend on sea in the UK has had thousands of views on her cover of Regina Spektors song, ‘Samson’. Kate is clearly a talent to be reckoned with has her Beat100 social wall has been filled with tributes from all over the globe. Kate is now the highest ever voted for video on Beat100 & even though the site is still in its early stages it is quite some achievement.

Coming second in the Beat100 Music chart and bagging $ 200 was Brazilian Rogerio Vaz. Rogerio is 19 years old & lives in Rio de Janeiro, after receiving an acoustic guitar for his 16th birthday Rogerio taught himself the basics to play & perform stating;

“I learned to play the guitar by myself but the singing just comes from the heart.” – Rogerio Vaz, Rio de Janeiro When asked about what thoughts Rogerio had on Beat100 the Brazilian said;

“Beat100 is an awesome website, It allows us to share our passion with people from all around the globe. I really think that people created Beat100 to find awesome talents like “Us and Her”, I guess we’ll find a lot more talent on this website!”

In Third place for Beat100 November Music Chart was Essex band ‘Remember December’ who consist of Jazmine Stiles-Howard (Vocals), Sam Gallivan (Lead Guitarist), Jamie Warren (Rhythm Guitarist), Josh Gallager (Bassist) & Charles Carter (Drummer). Beat100?s alternative Video Lifestyle Chart also came up trumps with a new style of video topping the list. Many of the uploads are of extreme sports such as skateboarding & BMX riders pulling off wild stunts however Turkish born 19 old Ozan Kilinchan decided there was no need for the ?extreme? and uploaded an edited clip of a basketball match which heavily featured Ozan scoring and setting up his team mates. The video has attracted a lot of sport enthusiasts attention and proves that Beat100 could also be a platform for sport scouts to see athletes & players that would not normally have the chance to be see. Ozan picked up the $ 200 prize with his efforts and Beat100 users votes.

This type of video seems to be a popular upload on Beat100, it?s got to the point where users are competing from one side of the world to another.

Scott Donovan features in this BMX edit shot at legacy xs skate park on October 28th.
